Our Story
Sample Workshop officially opened its showroom doors in 2019 with a mission to shake up the design industry by offering a showroom-based transparent design service available to all project sizes and budgets.
By operating from our interactive showroom that displays over 6000 residential finishes, we can drastically reduce our design hours and make our service affordable. You will feel in control and involved throughout the entire process. Our job is not only to pick a colour palette that achieves your overall desired look but to ensure appropriate products are selected to best suit the application and budget.
We are so passionate about what we do and the service we offer. Renovating and building is an exciting undertaking, and we want you to enjoy the process by letting us take the design stress off your shoulders.
Meet The Team
Georgia has spent her life around the construction industry, exposed to high-end complex builds designed by Auckland’s most recognised architects. She caught the design bug early, graduating in architecture, followed by interior design. Her industry knowledge and eye for detail have made her our go-to gal for space planning and custom cabinetry design, such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and wardrobes. Alternatively, she is always happy to run her expert eye over your drafted plans to provide a second opinion and reassurance.
Alongside experience with planning and management roles, Emma’s flair for design led to her obtaining an interior qualification. After years of working in design, she felt disheartened that the Interior Design industry predominantly catered to high-end clients. With her family operating a leading business within the industry, it is no surprise that Emma followed her family’s footsteps in establishing her own successful business. She promptly founded Sample Workshop and made it her mission to provide a feasible design service for all residential project types and budgets.
